The Story Of Old Glory

The story of Old Glory

tells of guts and bravery

from Colonies of people

who were fighting to be free.

Old Glory is an emblem

waving proudly high above,

for all who gave their lives

for the freedom we so love.,

It flies to tell all people

we’re a nation strong and free,

and warns the worlds oppressors,

“If you’re wise, Don’t tread on me.”

Old Glory we salute you,

and all for which you stand.

You’re a symbol and a banner

of a proud and grateful land.

May we never take for granted

freedom’s price, and remain true,

to our nation’s flag, “Old Glory”.

The red and white, and blue.
